For the 2026 U.S. MLB postseason, games are split across NBC, TBS, FOX and FS1—not carried live by one service. Peacock streams NBC’s Wild Card Series; TBS access depends on your TV or streaming package; and FOX One streams FOX/FS1 games. MLB.TV is not a complete live postseason pass for U.S. viewers: select FOX and TBS games require participating pay-TV authentication, while NBC’s Wild Card games are not available live through MLB.TV.
Which network and service carries each 2026 postseason round?
FOX Sports’ 2026 postseason guide assigns the rounds as follows. FOX/FS1 game assignments can vary by game, so check the live schedule for the specific matchup and start time.
| Round | Network | Streaming route |

| American League Division Series (ALDS) | TBS | Through a TV or streaming package that includes TBS |
| American League Championship Series (ALCS) | TBS | Through a TV or streaming package that includes TBS |

The guide lists tentative 2026 dates: Wild Card begins September 29, Division Series October 3, League Championship Series October 11 and World Series October 23. Matchups and game times are subject to announcement or change; use the current schedule for exact details.
What do you need to stream each service’s games?
Peacock for the Wild Card Series
Peacock is the streaming route identified for NBC’s Wild Card coverage. MLB.TV does not carry those NBC/Peacock games live for viewers in the United States.

FOX One, or an eligible TV-provider login, for FOX and FS1
FOX One is identified for FOX/FS1 postseason coverage. FOX games are also available through the FOX Sports site and app when you sign in with an eligible TV-provider account. Check which network—FOX or FS1—has the particular game.
A package that includes TBS for the ALDS and ALCS
The reviewed schedule identifies TBS for both American League rounds, but does not establish a single standalone streaming service or plan tier for those games. Check that TBS is included in the exact TV or streaming package you are considering.
Live TV streaming packages for a possible all-round option
A live TV package can cover every round only if it includes the relevant local NBC and FOX feeds as well as TBS and FS1. Channel availability varies by market and plan. Confirm the precise local lineup before subscribing; the available information does not establish a reliable current service-by-service plan and price comparison.

Can you watch the postseason on MLB.TV?
Not all of it live in the United States. According to MLB’s postseason viewing guidance, U.S. subscribers need authentication through a participating pay-TV provider to watch select FOX and TBS postseason games live. NBC/Peacock Wild Card games are unavailable live through MLB.TV. MLB.TV does provide postseason audio and full-game archives 90 minutes after a game ends.

The round assignments above follow FOX Sports’ explicit guide; MLB’s page is useful here for its authentication rules, not for resolving those inconsistent network labels.
There is also a 2026–2028 MLB.TV rights agreement with ESPN. ESPN says MLB.TV is available through the ESPN App and MLB platforms in 2026, and describes it as including regular-season out-of-market games and select 2026 postseason games, subject to restrictions. That arrangement does not remove the U.S. authentication requirement for select FOX and TBS games or add NBC’s Wild Card games to MLB.TV’s live offering. See ESPN’s announcement and check MLB’s current viewing terms for your account.

What if you are outside the United States?
MLB says international MLB.TV subscribers can watch postseason games live except in Canada. The reviewed guidance does not provide a country-by-country breakdown, so do not assume the U.S. network and authentication rules apply everywhere. Check availability for your location in MLB’s current viewing guidance.
Can an antenna cover the games?
An HDTV antenna may receive local NBC or FOX over the air where a station and adequate signal are available. Reception varies by location, and an antenna cannot receive cable channels TBS or FS1. It can help with some games but is not a complete way to watch the postseason.
Quick Recap
How to choose a setup before the next game
- Look up the game on FOX Sports’ current postseason schedule to confirm its round, network and start time.
- For a Wild Card game, check Peacock; for a FOX/FS1 game, check FOX One or FOX Sports access through an eligible TV-provider login; for an ALDS or ALCS game, confirm that your package includes TBS.
- If you want every round through one live TV package, verify that the exact plan carries TBS and FS1 plus your local NBC and FOX stations.
- If relying on MLB.TV in the United States, confirm that you have a participating pay-TV provider for eligible live FOX/TBS games, and remember that the service does not provide live NBC/Peacock Wild Card games.
