It reflects Pocket Gamer’s September 17, 2026 update for version 696.0, with the 2026 roster cross-checked against an October 14, 2026 guide. S-tier heroes are the best starting candidates, but faction bonuses, team roles, duplicate availability and your game mode still determine who deserves resources first.
How to read the faction tier list
Mobile Legends: Adventure teams are built around faction identity as well as individual strength. A hero can appear in more than one faction because alternate or upgraded versions are listed separately. The same character name may therefore have different placements depending on the version shown.

- S: highest current priority for investment when the hero fits your formation.
- A: strong and dependable choices that can remain useful for a long time.
- B: situational, mode-dependent or outclassed options.
- C: lower investment priority unless you need a temporary filler or specifically enjoy the hero.
These are rankings, not guaranteed win rates. The published guidance notes that the best team depends on your faction mix and what you are trying to achieve. Balance changes can also move a hero quickly, so treat version 696.0 as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent hierarchy.

Elemental’s S tier combines durable frontline options such as Belerick with control and damage specialists including Harley and the upgraded Esmeralda and Zhuxin variants. Build around the role your roster lacks rather than selecting several damage dealers simply because they are S tier.

Irithel and the newer Tidescale Kalea and Kryos Sinmara lead the faction’s current list. A-tier Ruby, Akai and Nana can still be sensible investments when your account needs control, protection or support instead of another attacker.

Angela remains an S-tier Tech choice in this snapshot, answering the common question about whether she is still worth building: yes, provided her support or link mechanics match your team. Atlas, Mystic Mystia and Sentient Alina are the other cited top priorities. Edith, Claude and Karrie form a broad A-tier bench for accounts missing a particular role.

Light has five S-tier entries, giving players several ways to build a core. Odette and Astraia Spira suit teams that can protect a high-impact damage plan, while Naiad Rafaela and Tidescale Kalea offer alternatives when survivability and sustain matter more.

Dark’s S tier is unusually deep, spanning damage, disruption and endurance. If you already own an A-tier Selena, Lylia or Vexana at high awakening, replacing it immediately may be less efficient than finishing that investment and adding an S-tier hero later.

Order has the largest S-tier group in the list. Omniversal Akashic, Heartcore Angela, Genesis Shar and Infinia Crocell are prominent high-priority targets, but the many other S-tier entries make role and awakening level especially important. Choose a coherent five-hero plan instead of spreading rare resources across every S-tier name.

The Chaos listing contains a duplicated Shah Torre entry in the source roster; it does not represent two different heroes. The faction’s S tier includes several cross-faction variants and premium-style units, so availability and duplicate copies can matter more than a one-place tier difference.

Who should you build first?
- Start with one carry and one survival plan. Select an S-tier damage dealer or control hero, then add a tank, healer or support that keeps that hero active.
- Check faction and role overlap. A lower-ranked A-tier support can improve a team more than a second S-tier attacker with no protection.
- Spend scarce awakening resources deliberately. Prioritize heroes you can obtain repeatedly; an unusable one-copy S-tier hero may perform worse than a fully developed A-tier unit.
- Match the mode. Campaign progression, faction towers, boss fights and player-versus-player battles reward different combinations.
- Recheck after patches. This ranking is tied to version 696.0 and 2026 updates; skill reworks, new releases and balance adjustments can change priorities.
What the rankings do—and do not—measure
The lists are editorial and community-informed placements, not published laboratory statistics. One January 6, 2026 ranking states that it used rankings from the official Mobile Legends: Adventure Discord and its community. No independently measured win-rate or damage statistic was supplied for these tiers, so a tier should be read as a practical priority signal rather than a precise numerical power rating.

For the current 2026 snapshot, begin with an S-tier hero that fills a needed role, then build the faction synergy and support structure around it. Tech’s Angela, Atlas, Mystic Mystia and Sentient Alina are clear standouts; Order and Chaos offer the deepest S-tier pools. Reassess your plan whenever the game leaves version 696.0.
