Outlanders: a broader exploration adventure, as announced
Capcom describes a mobile game about hunting monsters and exploring a field with companions gathered from different regions. Its September 2025 trailer positioned the game as an exploration action RPG and promoted a “vast and immersive world.” Those descriptions indicate an adventure-led direction, but they are promotional framing rather than a tested account of the map, progression, or moment-to-moment play.
Capcom named TiMi Studio Group, a Tencent Games subsidiary, as developer and says the controls are optimized for mobile. The announcement does not establish the finished game’s session length, map structure, or whether exploration requires physical movement.
Now: hunts connected to the player’s surroundings
Monster Hunter Now turns real-world locations into its hunting ground. Its official overview describes outdoor exploration, quests, material gathering at real-world points, weapon and armor forging or upgrades, and nearby multiplayer. Its launch description emphasized short hunts and one-handed play; it specified hunts lasting 75 seconds at launch, rather than establishing that every encounter must always follow that duration.

How much can you compare before Outlanders launches?
Now can be described from its released-game features and dated updates. For example, its September 2025 Season 7 announcement discussed weapon-style customization, cooperative local exploration bases, choosing monster groups, seasonal monsters, and changes to weapon-material requirements. These are evidence of systems added or discussed at that time, not a guarantee that every detail is unchanged in October 2026.
