When did Monster Hunter Wilds come out?
Capcom announced February 28, 2025, as the release date for Monster Hunter Wilds on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Capcom USA’s Joseph Bustos also stated on the PlayStation Blog, “The hunt begins in Monster Hunter Wilds on February 28, 2025!” (Capcom’s platform and release-date announcement; PlayStation Blog announcement.)

What time did Monster Hunter Wilds unlock on Steam?
Steam’s announced schedule set the full release for February 27, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PT), which was February 28 at 5:00 a.m. GMT. The two dates refer to the same scheduled moment in different time zones. This timing applies to Steam; it should not be treated as the console unlock time. (Steam release schedule.)
Did the console versions unlock at the same time?
The official sources cited here confirm the console platforms and February 28 release date, but do not establish exact unlock times for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S in every territory. There is not enough information here to say that consoles followed Steam’s schedule or a universal midnight-local release.

Is the countdown still active?

Capcom reported that Monster Hunter Wilds surpassed 10 million units sold worldwide after its February 2025 release. That is a milestone reported by Capcom in 2025, not a current sales total. (Capcom’s March 2025 sales announcement.)
