In Monster Hunter: World, delivery requests are Resource Center tasks: accept or track a request, gather its specified items and points if required, then turn them in at the Resource Center. Completing them can unlock canteen ingredients and facility upgrades, among other useful rewards. They are separate from limited-time event quests that happen to require delivering items.
How Resource Center delivery requests work
The in-game tutorial explains that requests accepted from researchers are completed by turning the specified items in at the Resource Center. It says completed requests can reward new Canteen ingredients or facility upgrades. In practice, use the Resource Center to review and accept or track a request, collect what its details name, and return there to complete the delivery.
A request can call for a particular gathered item or monster material, and some also require a specified number of points. The exact requirements and reward appear in the request details, so check those rather than assuming every delivery follows the same pattern.
Examples of request rewards
The community-maintained base-game delivery index lists “Sprouting an Ancient Tree” as requiring 500 points and one Coral Bone, with Catalyst listed as its unlock. It also lists “To Hold a Harvest,” requiring 300 points and two Aqua Sacs, for a Harvest Box upgrade. These are examples, not a complete list or a universal unlock order; availability can depend on game progression.

What deliveries can unlock
Resource Center deliveries are useful because their rewards can expand your options or improve facilities. The tutorial specifically identifies Canteen ingredients and facility upgrades. Delivery references also include unlocks such as camps and specialized tools, but the precise reward depends on the individual request.
To decide whether a request is worth completing now, read its listed reward alongside its item and points requirements. Some requests call for materials you may already have; others may require gathering or hunting first. The index examples above illustrate how varied the costs and rewards can be.

Resource Center requests versus event quests
Not every objective described as a delivery is a Resource Center request. Capcom’s event schedules include quests whose success condition is to deliver a stated number of items. Those appear in event quest listings, have their own rank and availability conditions, and award quest rewards rather than functioning as ordinary Resource Center unlock requests.
| Activity | Where to find it | What you do | Availability and rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Resource Center delivery request | Resource Center requests | Turn in the specified items or materials, and points if required by that request. | Can unlock options such as Canteen ingredients or facility improvements. Availability may depend on game progression. |
| Delivery-objective event quest | Event quest listings | Meet the quest’s stated delivery objective. | Availability depends on the event schedule and applicable rank requirements; rewards are quest rewards. |
Examples from Capcom event schedules
- The Master Rank schedule describes “Desert Desserts” as requiring delivery of 20 Hardfruit.
- The same schedule lists “Duffel Duty,” requiring eight Duffel Penguins and rewarding special materials for themed headgear.
- The Low/High Rank schedule lists “A Simple Task,” requiring 10 Gourmet Shroomcap, and “Tracking the Delivery,” requiring 10 Blue Beryl.
These are examples from schedules accessed October 8, 2026, not a promise that a quest is currently available. Check the in-game event listings or Capcom’s schedules for current availability and rank conditions.

Where to check requirements and availability
- For an ordinary delivery, open the Resource Center and inspect its request details for the required items, any points requirement, and the listed reward.
- For a delivery-objective event quest, check the event quest listing and its conditions; do not assume it is handled like a Resource Center request.
- For event timing and rank requirements, consult Capcom’s Master Rank Event Quest schedule or Low/High Rank Event Quest schedule, then confirm in-game.
The base-game request examples come from a community-maintained index, while the explanation of the basic turn-in process comes from a transcription of the game’s tutorial text. Treat listed examples as guidance and use the request shown in your own game for its exact conditions.
