Monument Valley 3 launched on Netflix Games on December 10, 2024. It is no longer just an upcoming Netflix mobile game: ustwo Games’ support page, updated February 11, 2026, lists versions for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, Windows via Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
When did Monument Valley 3 come out?
Netflix announced the game at gamescom on August 20, 2024, setting a December 10 release date. ustwo Games confirmed that it launched on that date and was available through Netflix Games. The announcement-era description “coming in December” is now historical.
Netflix introduced the game as a sequel in the Monument Valley series, but ustwo Games developed it. The launch post described the original mobile release as downloadable through the App Store and Google Play, with Netflix credentials required to access it.

The developer’s news listing says the game became globally available for PC and console on July 22, 2025, and names Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Steam. The newer support article lists Xbox Series X/S but not Xbox One; these are the platforms stated in each source, and the pages do not explain the difference.
For current platform details, consult ustwo Games Support’s device list. Its page does not list Netflix as a current platform. Netflix credentials were required for the original mobile release, but the available information does not establish whether Netflix access remains available in every region or through every storefront.

What is Monument Valley 3 about?
You guide Noor, an apprentice who discovers that the world’s light is fading, in search of a new source of power. The journey moves through a world of rising waters as Noor explores and tries to help a village find a new home.
The puzzle adventure is built around optical illusions and perspective. Players rotate and manipulate architecture and the surrounding environment to reveal hidden paths. ustwo’s launch description emphasizes interaction “with a touch” for the mobile version; the game is also available on PC and consoles, so touch should not be assumed to be the control method on every platform.

Who made the game, and what did Netflix announce?
ustwo Games is the developer. Netflix announced the game in 2024 and launched it first through Netflix Games on mobile. In its August 20 announcement, Game Director Jennifer Estaris described the series’ ambitions: “Monument Valley is a title that has pushed boundaries of what is possible in games, from the power of minimalist design, to the simplicity of play and the emotion of interactive storytelling.” That is Estaris’s promotional statement in the announcement, not an independent review.
