The MOZA R5 Racing Bundle is a capable entry point into direct-drive sim racing for PC players, but it is not a console wheel. MOZA rates its R5 wheelbase at 5.5 N·m peak torque and includes an ES steering wheel, SR-P Lite pedals and a table clamp. The pedals have no clutch, and you should check your desk or cockpit mounting fit before buying.
What comes in the MOZA R5 bundle?
The package combines MOZA’s R5 direct-drive wheelbase with an ES steering wheel, SR-P Lite pedals and a table clamp. MOZA’s bundle listing also names the power adapter and cord, USB cable, toolkit, user manual and warranty card. Contents can vary by regional configuration, so check the current listing for your market.
The R5 base is rated at 5.5 N·m peak torque. MOZA lists a 15-bit encoder and 1000 Hz USB refresh rate. Its ES wheel is 11 inches across, with microfiber leather, 22 buttons and 10 LEDs. The SR-P Lite pedals use Hall sensors and allow pedal spacing and height adjustment. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. MOZA R5 bundle specifications.
How does the R5 feel, and who is it for?
Direct drive means the wheel is driven by a motor at the wheelbase rather than through a belt or gear transmission. MOZA describes the R5’s 5.5 N·m peak torque as a significant step up from gear- and belt-driven wheels in the same price range; that comparison is the manufacturer’s claim, not a controlled head-to-head result.

PC Gamer’s July 15, 2026 buying guide places the R5 bundle in its budget direct-drive category. The publication cites detailed feedback, perceived premium build quality, included pedals and value as strengths, while noting that the force is limited compared with stronger wheels. That makes the R5 most compelling for a PC player who wants to move into direct drive with the core controls in one bundle. It is less suitable if you need console compatibility, a clutch pedal included in the box, or stronger force than this 5.5 N·m-rated base offers.

Is the MOZA R5 compatible with PC, Xbox or PlayStation?
MOZA Support says the R5 bundle is PC-only and supports Windows 10 and Windows 11. It is not compatible with Xbox or PlayStation. MOZA points Xbox buyers to the R3 Xbox Bundle instead. MOZA’s product page names games including Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Forza Horizon 5, Euro Truck Simulator 2, iRacing, rFactor 2 and Automobilista 2. The presence of a title on that page is a starting point for checking compatibility, not a guarantee that every game requires no configuration.

Will the R5 fit your desk or sim-racing cockpit?
Desk mounting
MOZA says the included table clamp supports desks up to 50 mm thick. Measure the part of your desk where the clamp will attach; do not rely on the overall desktop thickness if the edge or underside has a lip or obstruction.
Cockpit and wheel-stand mounting
The base has four-hole bottom mounting. MOZA says this works with most sim-racing cockpits and wheel stands, but “most” does not mean all: PC Gamer also cautions that the mounting holes may not line up on every rig. Compare your cockpit’s mounting pattern with the base’s before ordering. MOZA’s support page provides the mounting information; the product page lists four-hole mounting.

What can you upgrade later?
The included SR-P Lite pedals do not include a clutch pedal. MOZA lists a separate SR-P Lite clutch pedal and Performance Kit as optional upgrades. The ES steering wheel supports MOZA’s Formula and 12-inch round wheel modifications, according to MOZA Support.
MOZA also says third-party steering wheels with a D1 SPEC quick release are supported. For those wheels, paddle and button functions require the wheel to connect separately to the PC. MOZA further instructs users to configure the wheel’s inertia ratio in Pit House for hands-off protection. Treat these as setup requirements, not plug-and-play guarantees. What does MOZA Pit House do?
MOZA describes Pit House as its software for adjusting force feedback, pedal curves, button mapping and profiles. Those controls let you tailor the wheel and pedals to supported games, but the software does not remove the need to verify compatibility and configure individual titles.
MOZA R5: the main trade-offs
- Good fit: PC sim racers seeking an all-in-one direct-drive starter bundle with wheel, pedals and a desk clamp.
- Key restriction: Windows 10/11 PC only; it does not work with Xbox or PlayStation.
- Included-pedal limitation: there is no clutch pedal in the bundle.
- Fit check: desk thickness is limited to 50 mm for the included clamp, and cockpit hole patterns should be verified.
- Upgrade path: MOZA lists compatible pedal and ES wheel modifications, with additional PC setup steps for third-party wheels.
PC Gamer’s July 2026 guide lists an “Expect to pay” figure of $460 / £460. That is the publication’s dated price expectation, not a verified current retail price; check the price and bundle contents for your region before purchase.
