Commander deck. Turtle Power! is a ready-to-play 100-card Commander product with its own decklist and featured commanders.
What are the 29 new TMNT cards?
Wizards of the Coast counts 29 different new-to-Magic cards with the TMC set code across the four themed decks in Turtle Team-Up. Each deck contains eight new-to-Magic cards; the total counts distinct cards across the product, not a 29-card Commander list. Wizards’ Turtle Team-Up contents announcement describes the decks and box contents.
What is Turtle Team-Up?
Turtle Team-Up is a cooperative experience for two to four players. The players work together against an automated sequence of boss and event cards; Wizards lists an average game length of about 45 minutes.
What comes in the box
- Four themed 60-card decks, each with eight new-to-Magic cards
- One 38-card enemy deck
- Four Play Boosters
- A punch-out counter sheet
- Four deck boxes
- A tutorial booklet
What’s in the Turtle Power! Commander deck?
Turtle Power! is a separate preconstructed Commander product, not the box that contains the 29 Turtle Team-Up cards. Its ready-to-play deck is built for Commander play and includes a foil face commander, five other foil featured commanders, 94 nonfoil cards, ten double-sided tokens or punch-out counters, and a deck box. The official decklist names Leonardo, the Balance as the face commander. See Wizards’ Turtle Power! decklist.

Arcade-inspired theme and partner commanders
Wizards’ design article frames the deck around an arcade-game story: the Turtles and their allies face Tempestra and her digital clones. Cards expressing that theme include Tempestra, Dame of Games, High Score, Arcade Cabinet, and Coin of Mastery. Six cards in the deck have the Partner—Character select ability; a player can use two commanders together when both have that ability. Wizards explains the set’s creative direction and collecting details.

Which formats can use the new cards?
Wizards’ release notes distinguish cards by set code: TMT cards are permitted in Standard, Pioneer, Modern, Commander, and other formats; new TMC Commander cards are permitted in Commander, Legacy, and Vintage. These are the permissions stated in the release notes, not a guarantee that a card remains legal under current format rules. Confirm the current rules and banned lists before relying on tournament legality. Read Wizards’ TMNT release notes.
