These were different in-game representations of the same NFT collection, not official integrations with Rockstar or Minecraft. Infinity Auto has since shut down; current availability of the MetaHome sword in Survival Infinity is unconfirmed.
How the MetaHome NFTs worked across the two servers
GamesBeat reported on September 14, 2022, that MyMetaverse and Enjin had launched the MetaHome NFT collection for use across MyMetaverse-run game experiences. A token did not become one identical object with identical behavior in every game. Instead, each participating server recognized the NFT and represented it in a form suited to that game.

The launch report also said the NFTs could be used in MyMetaverse’s wider suite, including the MMO Infinity Realms. GamesBeat described MetaHome as the first collection minted on Efinity, then characterized as an NFT parachain built on Polkadot; that is the report’s 2022-era description, not a current technical assessment. These were community-server features, not official game integrations
The GTA V and Minecraft experiences were run by MyMetaverse, rather than being official integrations with Rockstar or Minecraft. MyMetaverse explicitly told GamesBeat that the integrations were not official. The announcement therefore did not establish endorsement or approval by Rockstar, Take-Two, Microsoft, or Mojang.

What changed after the announcement
Infinity Auto shut down
Enjin’s current Infinity Auto page says Take-Two, Rockstar’s parent company, sent a cease-and-desist letter over NFT use on GTA servers, after which the Infinity Auto server shut down. The page reproduces a statement attributed to Simon Kertonegoro, identified there as Infinity Auto’s founder, saying the team would not relaunch it. The vehicle use is a launch-era feature; the server is not a current way to use a MetaHome NFT. (Enjin, “Infinity Auto: Grand Theft Auto”.)
Survival Infinity’s MetaHome sword status is unclear
Enjin identifies Survival Infinity as the Minecraft server formerly called MyMeta Minecraft and describes other blockchain-related features, including tokenized land and NFT art displays. Its current page does not establish whether the specific MetaHome sword feature is still playable. The sword should therefore be understood as a reported launch-era use, not a confirmed current feature. (Enjin, “Survival Infinity: Minecraft”.)

Why the announcement mattered
The project illustrated one proposed form of cross-game interoperability: a shared digital asset could be recognized by separate game experiences and given different uses in each. MyMetaverse CEO and founder Simon Kertonegoro described the collection as an exploration of blockchain-enabled interoperability, while Enjin CTO Witek Radomski framed the effort as a way to connect studios and players through NFTs. Those were the companies’ aims for the launch, rather than evidence that the feature became a standard across games.
