How Strands works
Strands is a daily word-search game played on a six-by-eight grid. Theme words can bend in any direction, and finding three unrelated words unlocks an in-game hint that highlights a theme word. The spangram describes the puzzle’s theme and spans two opposite edges of the grid. These mechanics are summarized in Wikipedia’s Strands overview.
