Yes—NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm is available on mobile. It is a single-player adaptation of the first Ultimate Ninja Storm game, released September 24, 2024 (Japan Standard Time). It has touch controls and two modes, but no online battles. A separate Apple Arcade edition, NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM+, arrived in December 2025.
What game is on mobile?
The mobile release is NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm, a port of the first game in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series—not a newly announced multiplayer title. The official release notice confirmed its launch on September 24, 2024, Japan Standard Time. Bandai Namco lists it as available for smartphones, though distribution can vary by region. The official description calls it a single-player “Ninja Battle Action” game. It is designed for solo play rather than online competition.

Free Battle Mode
Choose from 25 playable characters and 10 additional characters who can serve as support only. The roster and story focus on Naruto’s childhood era.
How are the controls adapted for phones?
The mobile version revises battle and free-movement controls for touchscreens. Ninjutsu and ultimate jutsu can be triggered with taps, and players can choose between casual and manual battle controls. Casual mode also offers battle assist. Other mobile adjustments include auto-save, a mission retry option, revised minigame interfaces, and tutorials.

These options make the controls more accessible, but the game remains a single-player action fighter; they do not add online battles.
Can you play Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm offline?
Yes. After downloading the game, you can play offline. You need an internet connection for the initial download and for data backup or transfer. There is no online battle mode.

How much storage does the mobile game need?
Google Play lists at least 3.5 GB of free storage and notes that some devices may need more. The listing also advises checking device compatibility through the publisher’s support page. It flags possible display issues on some devices and crashes during certain actions on some devices. Because compatibility and app details can change, check the live store listing and its linked support information before buying.

Is Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm on Apple Arcade?
Yes. NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM+ is a separate Apple Arcade edition released December 4, 2025. It is single-player, has no online battle mode, and has no in-game purchase elements, according to the official notice. It is accessed through an Apple Arcade subscription; subscription availability and price depend on territory. The ¥900-per-month figure in the Japanese notice applies to Japan and should not be assumed for other regions.
If you are choosing between the standard mobile app and STORM+, compare the current local store availability and cost with whether you already subscribe to Apple Arcade. Neither edition offers online battles.
