Can you play NASCAR 25 online with friends?
Yes. The official NASCAR 25 feature page advertises online multiplayer for up to 40 players in tournament or custom events. That describes online play, not local multiplayer on one console or PC.
There is one important restriction: the official FAQ says cross-platform play is not supported. Players should therefore arrange to play on the same platform; a PC player cannot rely on joining friends playing on Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5.
Does NASCAR 25 have private lobbies?
Private-lobby availability is not consistent across the official information. The Steam update feed says a November 18, 2025 update added password-protected private online lobbies. But the FAQ still says, “Private lobbies are missing on the PC version” and “We’re currently addressing this issue and will have it resolved soon.” The FAQ does not state when that note was last updated.

Because the two official records conflict, PC players should check the current game build for the private-lobby option rather than assume the feature is available or unavailable in every version. The patch feed establishes the addition in a Steam update; it does not resolve the FAQ’s conflicting status note.
Is NASCAR 25 split-screen?
The official FAQ and feature page reviewed do not explicitly say whether NASCAR 25 supports local split-screen. Their silence is not proof that the mode is absent, so the available official information does not substantiate the “no split screen” part of the title. Players seeking same-screen local multiplayer should verify the mode in the game or consult a current official statement before buying on that basis.

Which platforms can play together?
The FAQ lists Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC through Steam, and says cross-platform play is unsupported. NASCAR announced the console release for October 14, 2025; Steam lists the PC release as November 11, 2025.

What controls and equipment can you use?
The FAQ says players can use a gamepad, racing wheel, or keyboard. PC wheel compatibility is not universal: some wheels may not work out of the box. The FAQ describes input-mapping options for devices that support XInput, GameInput, or DirectInput, so check your device and setup if wheel support is important.

The game is digital-only, with no physical disc available, according to the FAQ. Confirm the storefront and platform version before purchase, especially if your group is coordinating online play.
