What is the new NASCAR game called?
The title is NASCAR 25. NASCAR and iRacing announced it on July 24, 2025. Its development followed a 2023 licensing change: NASCAR, iRacing, and Motorsport Games announced on October 5, 2023, that iRacing had acquired NASCAR Team Properties’ exclusive simulation-style console racing-game license from Motorsport Games, with a new console game then expected in 2025. NASCAR’s 2023 announcement explains the transition.

When and where did NASCAR 25 come out?

The July announcement initially said the Steam version would arrive later; the launch notice and Steam listing subsequently confirmed November 11 for PC. The cited announcements establish these versions, not releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch. NASCAR’s July announcement named PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
What series and modes are included?
NASCAR 25 includes four series: NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, Craftsman Truck, and ARCA Menards. Its career mode starts in ARCA and charts progression toward becoming a Cup champion. The launch announcement describes customization for drivers and vehicles, plus career management involving contracts, money, facilities, and staff.

Racing and multiplayer options
The launch announcement lists quick races, seasons, and online multiplayer for up to 40 players. The Steam product page also identifies single-player and online PvP features. Those are product descriptions, not independent assessments of performance or gameplay quality.
Drivers and presentation
Dale Earnhardt Jr. serves as a career-mode guide. The launch announcement also names real drivers in the game, including William Byron, Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, Joey Logano, and Christopher Bell. A May developer diary described a race-day presentation from the driver’s perspective, moving from pits and garage to speedway; it identifies Earnhardt Jr. as executive producer and NASCAR Cup Series spotters TJ Majors and Josh Williams as featured in-game. The developer diary presents these as the studio’s design and promotional descriptions, not independently verified quality claims.

What did the editions cost at launch?
At console launch in October 2025, iRacing listed the Standard Edition at $59.99 and the Gold Edition at $79.99. Gold included the base game, a Season Pass, in-game currency and bonuses, and three DLC packs; the Season Pass was also listed separately for $24.99. These are historical launch prices, not current prices. Check the relevant storefront for present-day price, edition contents, and availability. iRacing’s launch notice lists the editions and prices.
Steam identifies iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC as developer and publisher, and lists in-game purchases and online interaction. That digital PC listing does not establish whether a physical-disc edition is available or whether a particular retailer currently has stock.
