Players have described slow loading screens, getting stuck on the logos page, and crashes during loading. They do not show how widespread the problem is now, confirm a current outage, or identify a root cause.

2K’s Android troubleshooting advice covers general performance and connection problems across its Android games; it is not an NBA 2K Mobile-specific diagnosis. Use it as a set of checks, not a promise that any one step will solve a loading problem.
What to try on Android
Try the lower-risk checks first. Menu names can differ by Android version and device manufacturer.

- Close background apps. Reopen NBA 2K Mobile and see whether loading changes.
- Check available storage. If the device is low on space, free some room before trying again.
- Check your connection. Try Wi-Fi or mobile data, whichever you are not currently using. If mobile connectivity appears stuck, toggle mobile data or Airplane Mode. For a Wi-Fi connection failure, 2K suggests unplugging the router, waiting 30 seconds, and reconnecting its power.
- Clear the app cache, if appropriate. Use your device’s Android app settings to find NBA 2K Mobile and its storage or cache controls. 2K Support says, “Clear Cache does not delete your save files and is safe to use.” The precise settings path varies by device.
Do not select Clear Data or uninstall the game casually. 2K warns that either action deletes save files. If you are considering one, first confirm that your progress is backed up or linked through an account method supported by the game; the cited guidance does not promise a particular recovery method.
What to try on iPhone or iPad
The available 2K material does not establish an iOS procedure for this specific loading symptom. Do not apply Android cache-menu instructions to an iPhone or iPad. Check current 2K or Apple guidance for your device before changing app data or reinstalling.

2K’s requirements page lists iPhone 6s, iPad Air 2, first-generation iPad Pro, and iPad mini 4 as minimum iOS device generations. The page was updated July 24, 2024. This is compatibility information, not evidence that a newer device will fix a particular loading problem.

Use the 2K support request form and select NBA 2K Mobile Basketball. The form asks for the affected platform or device and the steps that led to the bug; player ID is optional. 2K’s Android guidance also asks players with continuing performance problems to provide the exact device model.

- Exact device model, operating system, and game version.
- Whether you are using Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Where loading stops—for example, at a logo, a loading screen, or just before a crash.

- Steps you have already tried and what happened after each one.
Those extra details help describe the problem; the official form does not establish that every one is required.
