The Epic Games Store has published provisional minimum and recommended PC specifications, but there is no official resolution, preset, ray-tracing, upscaling or frame-rate target yet. You can check whether your computer matches the listed hardware now; you cannot make a reliable FPS prediction until a representative release build has been tested.
What is confirmed about the PC version
The game has not launched, and the announced Q1 2027 window has no fixed day attached to it. That makes every specification a pre-release snapshot rather than a final performance contract. The Epic Games Store listing identifies two hardware tiers. It does not say which resolution, image-quality preset or frame rate those tiers are intended to deliver.

The minimum column is the baseline the publisher has chosen for running the game at all; it is not a promise of 60 frames per second. The recommended column identifies a substantially faster class of computer, but it likewise does not promise 1080p, 1440p, 4K, a particular preset or a locked frame rate.

These figures come from the Epic Games Store listing attributed to ProbablyMonsters in 2026. The 15 GB figure is the listed requirement, not a guarantee that later patches, downloadable content or shader caches will use no additional space. Leave practical free capacity on the drive rather than filling it to the exact number.

How to tell whether your PC can run it
1. Check the operating system
Press Windows+R, enter winver, and press Enter. A system on Windows 10 meets the published minimum operating-system tier; Windows 11 matches the recommended tier. The listing does not identify a specific Windows 10 feature update, so keep the installation fully patched before launch.
2. Identify the processor
Open Settings > System > About and read the processor model. For a more detailed view, open Task Manager > Performance > CPU. Compare the complete model name, not just the brand or clock speed. The minimum examples are Intel Core i5-9500 and AMD Ryzen 5 3500X; the recommended examples are Intel Core i7-11700K and AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D.
A processor that falls between those examples, or a much older chip with a similar name, cannot be classified from the listing alone. CPU generation, core count, power limits and laptop-versus-desktop configuration can change results. Treat the named models as reference points rather than a precise pass/fail calculator.

Use Task Manager > Performance > GPU or run dxdiag and inspect the Display tab. The minimum graphics pair is a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or Radeon RX 5500 XT. The recommended pair is a GeForce RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 7700 XT.
These pairs define the publisher’s minimum and recommended GPU classes. They are not equivalent to a promised visual preset. A laptop GPU carrying the same family name may have lower power limits and different performance from a desktop card, so check the exact mobile designation. Also verify that the driver exposes DirectX 12; the game lists DirectX 12 for both tiers.

4. Verify memory and storage
The minimum is 16 GB of system RAM, while the recommended tier doubles that to 32 GB. In Settings > System > About, check installed memory; Task Manager’s Performance > Memory view shows current capacity and usage. Close memory-heavy applications when testing a machine near the minimum, but do not treat closing programs as a substitute for meeting the requirement.
The listing requests 15 GB of storage. In Settings > System > Storage, confirm that the target drive has more than that amount free. An SSD is not specified, and no loading-time result has been published. Installing on an SSD can still leave more headroom for updates and general Windows operation, but it should not be presented as an official requirement.

5. Confirm the audio setup
“Surround sound” appears in both requirement columns. The listing does not identify a required speaker layout, headset standard or audio device. A normal Windows audio output should therefore be checked for working drivers and the correct default device, while the exact surround implementation remains unconfirmed.
Understanding the GPU gap
The jump from GTX 1660 Ti/RX 5500 XT to RTX 3070/RX 7700 XT is the most visible difference between the two tiers. It signals that the recommended configuration has considerably more graphics throughput and memory bandwidth available than the baseline. That is useful when choosing a new card, but it still does not reveal the game’s internal rendering resolution, texture budget or effects workload.
If your card is below the minimum pair, there is no official evidence that a particular low preset, resolution reduction or upscaler will make it playable. If it sits around the minimum class, plan for experimentation after release rather than assuming a fixed frame rate. A card near the recommended pair gives you more hardware margin, but the absence of a target resolution means even that label cannot be translated into a guaranteed 60 or 120 FPS.

For a straightforward hardware comparison, use the following order:
- Compare the GPU against the minimum and recommended pairs first.
- Check whether system RAM is 16 GB or 32 GB.
- Compare the CPU model with the listed Intel and AMD examples.
- Confirm Windows, DirectX 12 and available storage.
Do not combine a recommended GPU with minimum RAM and call the whole computer “recommended.” The publisher’s tiers describe a set of components, and a system that mixes tiers may behave differently from either reference configuration.
Graphics settings: what has and has not been announced
No authoritative settings menu has been published. The Epic listing supplies hardware requirements only. There are currently no confirmed options for resolution presets, texture quality, shadow quality, anti-aliasing, field of view, window mode, borderless display, vertical sync, HDR, ray tracing, or DLSS, FSR or XeSS upscaling.
PCGamingWiki’s graphics-feature table leaves widescreen, ultrawide, 4K, FOV, windowed and borderless modes, anti-aliasing, VSync, HDR and 60/120-FPS support unconfirmed. Those empty entries should not be interpreted as proof that the features are absent; they mean that a reliable public confirmation is not available for the pre-release build.
Consequently, a “best settings” guide published before launch would be speculation unless it identifies a later playable build and documents the options actually present. The same caution applies to claims about a hidden config file, a specific upscaler, or a recommended competitive preset.

Can you estimate FPS?
Not responsibly from the current information. Neither the publisher nor the available preview material supplies benchmark results, a target frame rate or a tested resolution. The words “minimum” and “recommended” describe hardware categories, not measured performance points.
Once a review or demo build exists, a useful benchmark should report the GPU model, CPU, RAM, driver, Windows version, resolution, graphics preset, upscaling mode and the test scene. Without those details, an FPS number cannot be compared meaningfully between systems. A result in a quiet interior, for example, may not represent a crowded outdoor scene or a scripted mission encounter.
Until those measurements exist, avoid buying a component solely on an advertised frame-rate claim. The RTX 3070 is a named recommended-tier example, so it is a sensible reference when comparing hardware offers, but the listing does not guarantee what that card will deliver in the finished game.
Preparing a near-minimum PC
- Install current Windows updates and the latest stable graphics driver for your card.
- Use
dxdiagto confirm DirectX 12 support and save the report if you need to troubleshoot. - Free substantially more than 15 GB on the installation drive so the launcher can download patches and create temporary files.
- Close browsers, recording tools and other applications that consume significant RAM when testing a 16 GB system.
- After launch, begin with the game’s lowest available preset at your monitor’s native resolution, then change one setting at a time. Record frame-time consistency as well as the average FPS.
- If the game exposes an upscaler or resolution scale, test it separately and note image-quality changes; none is confirmed at present.
These steps improve the chance of a clean test but cannot overcome hardware below the published baseline. They also cannot establish performance before the final game exposes its actual settings and workloads.
Release timing and the Hans the Handsome connection
The current expectation is Q1 2027, with no fixed release date. That window matters because requirements and graphics options can change during development. Recheck the store listing and the developer’s release information when a date, demo or launch build is announced rather than treating the 2026 specification snapshot as immutable.
Hans the Handsome is a major antagonist in the story. Insider Gaming reports that Hans kills Vano Nastasu’s parents and that one mission places Vano undercover as a waiter at Hans’s castle gala near Freiburg. Director Jeronimo Barrera described the narrative as extending beyond Vano’s personal story into factual historical areas that can be difficult to believe. This context explains why the title’s named villain appears in the game’s subtitle, but it does not change the PC requirements.
What to watch for before buying or upgrading
- Final requirements: look for a revised store page or launcher specification after the game enters a release-ready state.
- Graphics menu: confirm whether resolution scaling, upscaling, ray tracing, HDR, FOV and borderless mode are actually included.
- Performance evidence: prefer tests that publish complete hardware, resolution and preset details.
- Storage growth: check the installed size and patch requirements at launch instead of relying only on the currently listed 15 GB.
- Laptop qualification: verify the exact mobile GPU and its power limit when comparing it with a desktop card of the same family.
That checklist is especially important for a Q1 2027 release: driver support, Windows updates and the final build may all differ from the information available now.
