Ninja Slayer: Neo-Saitama in Flames is a single-player action-platform game available on Steam for PC and as a digital Nintendo Switch game. Its combat combines karate attacks, a Ninja Dash that moves through enemies and terrain, and Hissatsu Waza special techniques. Nintendo describes eight stages set across Neo-Saitama, with the goal of reaching Tokorozawa Pillar.
What kind of game is Ninja Slayer: Neo-Saitama in Flames?
It is an action-platform adaptation of the Ninja Slayer series, set in Neo-Saitama, a futuristic fictional city. The official descriptions emphasize fast-paced combat and movement through the city’s streets and skyscrapers.
How the combat works
- Karate: use attacks against weaker enemies.
- Ninja Dash: move through enemies and terrain.
- Hissatsu Waza: use special techniques against tougher opponents.
Stages and setting
Nintendo describes eight stages and a quest to reach Tokorozawa Pillar, the ninjas’ final base. The storefront descriptions establish the premise and core mechanics, but do not provide enough detail to compare stage length, difficulty, or progression systems.

What should Switch players know?
Nintendo lists July 23, 2024 as the Switch edition’s release date. Nintendo’s US page gives a 1.5 GB file size, while Nintendo Australia lists 1.4 GB; these are regional storefront figures, not a universal fixed storage requirement. The US listing says players short on space can delete software or use a microSD card. The game listing does not say that a card is required.
- Nintendo cautions that the play experience may differ on Nintendo Switch Lite.
- Nintendo Australia says Switch 2 is compatible only with microSD Express cards. See the Australian eShop listing for that regional compatibility note.
Who developed and published the game?
Nintendo lists KADOKAWA as publisher and Skeleton Crew Studio as developer for the Switch edition. Steam lists KADOKAWA Corporation, KADOKAWA Game Linkage, and ABC ANIMATION as publishers. Those are the storefront credits for their respective listings.
