Nintendo’s June 18, 2024 Direct announced a slate of Nintendo Switch games planned for the second half of 2024 and beyond. The headline reveals included The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Mario & Luigi: Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and a first look at Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Nintendo described the presentation as roughly 40 minutes and said no Switch successor discussion was planned. The dates below are the plans announced at the time, not a statement of current availability.
What Nintendo announced in the June 2024 Direct
The presentation focused on games for the second half of 2024, but its lineup reached into 2025 and included partner releases, collections, ports and Nintendo Switch Online catalog additions. Nintendo’s official video chapter list verifies that these titles appeared in the Direct; a chapter label by itself does not establish a platform, release date or gameplay details. Nintendo’s announcement and official Direct video provide the announcement and chapter information.

Nintendo Switch Online additions are a separate category
Nintendo also announced Game Boy Advance titles for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack catalog: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Four Swords and Metroid: Zero Mission. Nintendo described Four Swords as including online multiplayer. These are subscription-catalog additions, not newly released standalone Switch games.

What the Direct did—and did not—cover
Nintendo dated the presentation June 18, 2024, described it as around 40 minutes, and framed it around Switch games coming in the second half of the year. It also said there would be no discussion of a Switch successor. That makes the showcase useful as a snapshot of Nintendo’s announced Switch slate at that date, rather than a complete list of every game planned for the system or a guarantee that announced plans would remain unchanged.
