It includes the console and accessories, plus a download code for one game chosen from three options—not all three. The system is restricted to Japanese as its system language and can be linked only to a Nintendo Account set to Japan.
What’s included in the bundle?
The package contains the Japanese-language Nintendo Switch 2 system and its standard listed accessories, along with a code insert for the selected game. Nintendo lists these hardware items:
- Nintendo Switch 2 system (Japanese-Language System)
- Joy-Con 2 (L) and Joy-Con 2 (R)
- Joy-Con 2 wrist strap
- Nintendo Switch 2 dock
- Joy-Con 2 grip
- AC adapter and USB-C charging cable
- Ultra High-Speed HDMI cable
- Download-code insert
The code can be redeemed on Nintendo eShop for one of the following games, at no additional cost, by March 31, 2027. Redemption requires a Nintendo Account and internet access. Nintendo’s October 6 announcement and Japanese product page describe the bundle and its redemption terms.
| Game choice | Platform listed by Nintendo |
|---|---|
| Mario Kart World | Nintendo Switch 2 |
| Nintendo Switch Sports Resort | Nintendo Switch 2 |
| Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream | Nintendo Switch |
Choose the title you actually want before redeeming: the included code covers one selection only. The list also includes a Nintendo Switch game, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, as well as two Nintendo Switch 2 titles.

Japan-only restrictions to check before buying
Nintendo identifies this as a system for Japan only. Its system language is Japanese, and the console can be linked only with a Nintendo Account whose country/region is set to Japan. Nintendo also stated these Japanese-language-system and Japan-account limitations in its April 2, 2025 Switch 2 announcement.
That makes the bundle a poor fit for anyone who needs another system language or plans to link an account registered outside Japan. These restrictions matter independently of which game you choose.

Price and value
Nintendo’s announced manufacturer’s suggested retail price is ¥63,980 including tax. For context, Nintendo’s May 2026 price revision notice says the Japanese-language console MSRP was revised to ¥59,980 effective May 25, 2026.
Nintendo’s bundle announcement does not provide a like-for-like total for buying the console and one of the eligible games separately, so it does not establish a specific amount of savings. The ¥63,980 figure is the announced bundle MSRP, not a verified comparison with retailer prices.
