As of October 8, 2026, Nintendo lists the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle at $549.99 in the US. A Walmart deal report puts it at $549, just 99 cents below that price; an October Amazon roundup lists it at $549.99. The available reports do not confirm a new $50 discount, so check the retailer’s live listing and checkout price before buying.
What comes in the bundle
Nintendo’s US bundle includes a Nintendo Switch 2 system, a full download of Mario Kart World, and a three-month (90-day) Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. The game supports races with up to 24 drivers. Nintendo also lists a 7.9-inch LCD screen, 4K output in TV mode with a compatible display, and two Joy-Con 2 controllers with the console. What the reported prices show
| Retailer or source | Reported bundle price | What the figure establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Nintendo US | $549.99 | Official listed price as of October 8, 2026; Nintendo says the bundle saves $37.98 against buying the included items separately at their suggested retail prices. Nintendo |
| Walmart | $549 | Tom’s Guide reported this price on October 7, 2026. It is a dated report, not a guarantee of the current listing or checkout price. Tom’s Guide |
| Amazon | $549.99 | GamesRadar+ listed this price in its October 2026 roundup. Check Amazon for current price and availability. GamesRadar+ |
The Walmart figure is 99 cents below Nintendo’s listed price, while the reported Amazon figure matches it. Neither report supports describing the bundle as currently $50 off MSRP.
How to tell whether the bundle is good value
Nintendo’s $37.98 savings figure compares the bundle with the suggested retail prices of the system, game, and membership purchased separately. It is not a promise that every retailer has cut the bundle price by that amount. For a practical comparison, check what each item costs separately today, then compare that total with the bundle’s current checkout price. GamesRadar notes that a game’s street price may be below MSRP, which can make an MSRP-based bundle saving less compelling.
