It addresses staff ordering, skills, quest objectives, vehicle visibility, save-load performance and more. One quest-log text issue remains, while further work on larger-scene rendering and character simulation was described as planned for a later patch.
What Patch 01.10 changes
The Nivalis Nights team said the update responds to bugs reported during the game’s first 24 hours and includes performance improvements it will continue to monitor. The official Steam announcement describes the update as an early response, not a resolution of every launch issue.
The notes cover the following fixes and improvements:
- Character performance: Improvements to character actions, animations and physics. The notes do not report a measured frame-rate gain.
- Staff orders: The order-taking workflow has been improved, and an issue that could repeat the action when ingredients needed restocking has been fixed.
- Skills: Business and barter skill levelling have been fixed.
- Quests and tutorial: The Ramen Noir objective for adding decorations and plants has been clarified. A tutorial objective that could confuse players who bought only the required amounts on the shopping list has also been corrected.
- Boats and furniture: Cockpit visibility on boats has been improved to reduce nausea, and furniture configuration issues have been fixed.
- Travel and ingredients: A note now explains how to skip travel transitions, and manager behavior when buying ingredients has been improved.
- Visuals and controls: A Level of Detail slider set to zero could cause visual artifacts; this has been fixed. Support for lower mouse-sensitivity settings has also been added.
- Collision and camera performance: Character collision with geometry has been addressed. The notes also list a fix for camera performance that could worsen each time a save was loaded.
- Chess: Castling is fixed for the case where the king is under check.
Where to find decorations and plants for Ramen Noir
For the clarified Ramen Noir objective, the official notes point players to in-game home furniture retailers in Eastern Residential, Hive Mall and Central Canyon. These shops sell the decorations and plants needed for the objective.

Known issue: quest-log text can become illegible
Patch 01.10 does not fix the quest-log text issue. The studio says that holding J to hide the quest log, then restoring it after some time, can make the text illegible. Although the team says the fix was already completed internally, it was not included in this patch; the stated workaround is to reload the save.
What was planned for the next patch
The team said it was preparing light culling to improve rendering in larger scenes and additional character-simulation performance work. Those changes required more testing and were not part of Patch 01.10. The announcement gives no release date or frame-rate target, and does not establish whether that planned work later shipped.
