No Case Should Remain Unsolved is a short, story-first mystery adventure about a missing child and a cold case reopened twelve years later. You investigate by arranging fragments of memory and testimony—not by taking part in action sequences. The game is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PS5; its central case concerns what happened to Seowon after she disappeared from a playground.
What is No Case Should Remain Unsolved about?
On February 5, 2012, a child named Seowon is reported missing from a playground. Twelve years later, retired detective Jeon Gyeong is asked by a younger officer to revisit the unresolved case. Witnesses and suspects were questioned, but the investigation never established what happened. The player revisits memories and testimony to piece together the story. This is a detective story presented as a puzzle adventure. Its subject is a fictional disappearance, not a guide to investigating real cold cases.
How do you solve the case?
Progress comes from interpreting and arranging scattered memory fragments, then connecting them like puzzle pieces. Conversations and recollections supply the pieces of the case; the challenge is working out how they fit together. Store descriptions also point to passcodes, keys, 54 conversations, and two hidden truths. These are details in the game listings, not a promise that every player will reach the same conclusions at the same pace. Steam lists nine achievements.

Can you play No Case Should Remain Unsolved on Switch or PS5?
Yes. The game launched on PC via Steam on January 17, 2024. PLAYISM announced the Nintendo Switch release for September 19, 2024, and the PS5 release for August 19, 2026. Language support can differ by platform listing and region. Steam lists interface and subtitle support for English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Indonesian, German, Spanish, Italian, and Vietnamese. Is there a physical book or other merchandise?
PLAYISM announced original merchandise through its official store on August 19, 2026, including T-shirts, four-piece pin badge sets, and a scenario book that lets fans revisit the story in text form. That scenario book is separate from the digital game listing; the announcement does not establish Amazon availability or a physical retail edition of the game. The main choice is practical: play on the platform you already use, then check its own store page for current price, available languages, and requirements. The available official information does not establish that one platform performs better than another, so there is no evidence-based performance advantage to use as a deciding factor.
