Critical Hit Games developed Nobody Wants to Die, with PLAION and Deep Silver publishing it. The story follows Detective James Karra through an investigation in a society where immortality is within reach. Steam’s description frames that future as one where “immortality comes at a price that someone has to pay.” Steam’s game listing presents that line as promotional copy, not an independent assessment.
How does the investigation work?
The investigation centers on examining crime scenes and uncovering evidence. The official release-date and gameplay announcement describes several tools and techniques:

Can you use a controller, and is a physical copy established?
Steam lists full controller support, including Xbox controllers, so a controller is an optional way to play on PC, not a requirement. The cited Steam listing sells the game digitally; it does not establish a physical edition. The official announcement mentions a soundtrack bundle but does not specify physical media.
