Green: SONOROUS
CLEAR, DEEP, FULL, RICH. These words can describe a resonant, strong-sounding voice. RICH and FULL may also seem to fit other associations, which makes this set less obvious.
Blue: POKER HANDS, FAMILIARLY
BOAT, FLUSH, QUADS, STRAIGHT. “Boat” is a familiar name for a full house, and “quads” means four of a kind; a flush and a straight are also poker hands.

Purple: ____ ANIMAL
BALLOON, PACK, PARTY, STUFFED. Add “animal” after each tile to make balloon animal, pack animal, party animal, and stuffed animal.
The red herring
RICH and FLUSH can both suggest money or wealth, but they do not form a group together: RICH belongs with voice descriptions, while FLUSH belongs with poker hands.

How the groups fit together
The puzzle mixes straightforward synonyms with less direct connections. The apartment set uses informal or alternate lodging terms, the voice set groups sound qualities, the poker set includes both standard hand names and familiar shorthand, and the final set relies on a shared word that follows each tile.
