How to approach the board
Connections asks you to sort 16 words into four groups of four. The difficulty often comes from words that plausibly fit more than one theme. Before submitting a set, check whether each word fits the same specific interpretation of the category; a broad association can be a tempting false lead.
Forbes contributor Kris Holt, writing in an April 16, 2025 guide, cautioned that “There’s only one solution for each puzzle, and you’ll need to be careful when it comes to words that might fit into more than one category.” That is a useful principle for this board: identify the narrow shared link, not just a loose connection.
