How Connections works

Connections gives players 16 words to sort into four groups of four, each linked by a theme. The New York Times describes yellow as the easiest category and purple as the trickiest; words can appear to fit more than one group, which is part of the challenge. The game is available through the Games app, nytimes.com/games/connections, nytimes.com/theathletic, and the News app. The daily puzzle releases at midnight in the player’s timezone, according to the NYT Help Center.

Can you replay game #362?

The NYT Help Center says the Connections archive goes back to June 12, 2023, and archive access requires an All Access or Games subscription. Archived play affects account statistics, but not current or maximum release-day streaks. A completed archived puzzle cannot be replayed. The Help Center also says the game is free to play on its listed platforms; an NYT account is recommended to retain progress across devices and platforms.
