How Connections works

Connections presents 16 words and asks you to sort them into four groups of four sharing a theme. The groups are labeled yellow, green, blue, and purple, from the easiest category to the trickiest. Because some words can plausibly fit more than one theme, look for a relationship that accounts for all four words rather than locking in the first possible match. The NYT Help Center’s Connections page says the daily puzzle releases at midnight in the player’s timezone and can be played on the NYT website and apps.

Can you replay Connections #206?

The NYT Help Center says the Connections archive goes back to June 12, 2023, and is available to All Access and Games subscribers. That archive access is separate from these secondary answer guides; the official help page explains the game and archive but does not provide the #206 answer key.
