How hard was puzzle #780?
TechRadar contributor Johnny Dee called this puzzle “Hard” and reported making two mistakes while solving it. That describes his individual solve, not an official difficulty rating or a measured player-wide result. As he put it, “Some days every group could have been yellow, today they could all have been purple.”
What Connections asks you to do
Connections presents 16 terms and asks players to sort them into four sets of four based on a shared connection. A 2024 benchmark paper by Angel Yahir Loredo Lopez, Tyler McDonald, and Ali Emami compiled 358 puzzles for its research dataset; that is the size of the paper’s corpus, not the total number of puzzles published by the game.
