There’s a date mismatch in the title: Connections puzzle #361 was published on June 6, 2024. The June 7 puzzle was #362. The hints and spoiler-marked answers below are for #361, not the June 7 game.

Use these prompts to narrow down the four groups without revealing their answers. Each clue corresponds to one color category.
- Yellow: Encourage to do.
- Green: From a popular family game.
- Blue: Look at the shapes.
- Purple: You could sit here.
How Connections works
The New York Times Help Center explains: “Players are given 16 words and must find groups of four items that share something in common.” Each puzzle has one solution, and words may seem to fit more than one category. The four colors signal difficulty, from yellow as the easiest to purple as the trickiest. See the official Connections rules.
The game releases at midnight in the player’s timezone. The official archive reaches back to June 12, 2023, and archive access is available to All Access and Games subscribers. Archive play affects completion and mistake statistics, but not current or maximum streaks; a completed archived puzzle cannot be replayed. The New York Times Help Center has archive details.
