How Connections works
In the November 2024 guide, Forbes described Connections as a game in which players sort 16 words into four groups of four by identifying their shared links. Players select four words and submit a group; a wrong guess costs a life, and four mistakes end the game. That is the guide’s description from 2024, not a current official rules reference.
