How Connections works—and why the date matters
In Connections, players sort 16 words into four groups of four that share a connection. The New York Times Help Center says each puzzle has exactly one solution, while the words can be tricky because they may appear to fit more than one category. Editors curate the words and categories using the Oxford Dictionary. Read the NYT Help Center’s game description.
