Full answers for April 17
The sixteen words divide into four groups:
- Yellow — Central section of the body: CORE, MIDRIFF, TORSO, TRUNK
- Green — Components of a pizza: CHEESE, CRUST, SAUCE, TOPPINGS
- Blue — Units of beer: CASE, FORTY, GROWLER, SIX-PACK
- Purple — Baseball greats: BONDS, MANTLE, TROUT, YOUNG
Why SIX-PACK can mislead
SIX-PACK can suggest abdominal muscles, which makes it look like it could fit with the body-related words. In the published solution, it belongs with CASE, FORTY and GROWLER in the beer-units group.
