NYT Connections puzzle #877 is dated Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The 16 words are DOC, AIR, PILOT, LEAF, SHEET, MID, ELECTRIC, SLIDE, ZIP, DRIVE, DIRECT, FILM, TIFF, COAT, RHYTHM, and GUIDE. Start with the gentle clues below; the category names and complete groups are farther down.
How to use these hints
Connections asks players to sort 16 words into four groups of four. The groups are color-coded and vary in difficulty; according to Forbes and TechRadar, a fourth incorrect guess ends the game. Both guides describe the game as available on the NYT website or through the Games app, with desktop and mobile play.
