Why the puzzle number is uncertain
The answer pages identify the January 20, 2025 puzzle as Connections: Sports Edition #119, and CNET reports the same categories and groups. However, another archive labels #119 as January 14 and #125 as January 20. The answer set is corroborated, but the number depends on which archive you consult.
