Canadian NHL teams, minus the S
Each answer is a Canadian NHL team name with its final “s” removed: Canucks becomes CANUCK, Jets becomes JET, Maple Leafs becomes MAPLE LEAF, and Oilers becomes OILER.

The New York Times Help Center says the daily game releases at midnight in the player’s timezone. It lists NYT Games web pages, nytimes.com/theathletic, The Athletic App, and the NYT News App as places to play Sports Edition. The Help Center also says Sports Edition does not have an archive, so its guidance does not establish that this November 12 puzzle can be replayed through an official archive.
