If you mean the Sunday, March 8, 2026 New York Times Crossword, the 71-Across revealer is INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY (entered without spaces as INTERNATIONALWOMENSDAY). The title does not specify a year, so confirm the date in the NYT archive if you meant a different March 8.

How to find the official puzzle or check another year
Use the NYT Games archive to navigate by month and year, and choose Daily rather than Mini if you want the full crossword. Games and All Access subscribers have archive access; non-subscribers have limited access, according to the NYT Crossword Help Center. The archive lets you select the date directly, which is the safest way to resolve the year when searching for a yearless date.

Sunday puzzle size, difficulty, and release time
The NYT describes Sunday crosswords as larger than other daily puzzles and roughly Wednesday- or Thursday-level in difficulty. Its weekday puzzles increase in difficulty from Monday through Saturday. The crossword is solved by filling white squares with letters so that Across and Down entries intersect.
NYT Help says Sunday and Monday puzzles become available at 6 p.m. EST the previous day; Tuesday through Saturday puzzles become available at 10 p.m. EST the previous day. That schedule can make a Sunday-date puzzle appear on Saturday evening.

If you want to preserve most of the solve, look up only the clue that is holding you up rather than opening a completed grid. The clue-list format at Try Hard Guides supports individual clue lookups; the solved-grid pages reveal more at once.
