How to check the puzzle in the NYT archive
The New York Times Help Center says Games and All Access subscribers can solve past Mini puzzles in the archive. It also notes that a daily Mini becomes available the evening before its publish date. The answer key above is reported by YouGoWords, which says it checked the solution against the published NYT answer. Parade’s May 17, 2026 page independently identifies the puzzle as Sunday’s Mini.
