How NYT Pips works
Pips is a digital domino-placement logic puzzle. Place the supplied dominoes to fill the board while satisfying the rules attached to its colored regions. Conditions can require matching or differing pip counts, a value greater or less than a stated amount, an exact number, or no particular value.

Medium
The Medium solution is likewise shown as an image rather than a readable sequence of placements. Refer to the Medium board image in the date guide.
Hard
Forbes’ Hard walkthrough begins with two forced placements: use the lone 4-pip domino to fill the Green 4 tile, then place the 2/2 domino in Purple 4.
