The spangram runs vertically from the top edge to the bottom edge. Its first letter touches the top at column four, and its last letter touches the bottom at column two. The Times’ rule, as reproduced by Parade, says a spangram describes the theme and touches two opposite sides of the board; it may be two words.
What are the NYT Strands #240 answers?
