How Strands hints and the spangram work
Strands is a word-search-style puzzle: trace connected letters in the grid to form words. Theme words are highlighted when found. The spangram summarizes the theme and stretches from one side of the board to the opposite side. Finding three non-theme words of at least four letters earns a hint that reveals a theme word.
