How Strands hints work
Parade’s account of the game instructions says theme words fill the board, remain highlighted in blue, and do not overlap. The spangram describes the theme, touches two opposite sides of the board, and can contain two words. Finding three non-theme words earns a hint that reveals letters of a theme word; when a hint is already active, it shows their order.
