The theme clue is “My bad!” TechRadar lists these words as triggers for Strands’ in-game hint system. They are not the puzzle’s theme answers:

Spangram hint
The spangram is 13 letters when its space is omitted. TechRadar reports that it starts at the right edge of the grid on row 4 and reaches the left edge on row 8.
