Is Oblivion Remastered out yet?
Yes. Bethesda lists The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, and says it is available through Game Pass. Xbox Wire also lists cloud availability and Xbox Play Anywhere. In its April 22, 2025 launch announcement, Xbox Wire Editor-in-Chief Joe Skrebels wrote: “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is out today for Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam and the Xbox App for Windows PC), cloud, and PlayStation 5.” Xbox Wire

Does Oblivion Remastered include horse armor?
Yes. Bethesda includes the legacy Horse Pack Armor in the Standard Edition, alongside the game’s other listed legacy DLC. You do not need Deluxe to get that original horse-armor content. Bethesda

The remaster retains the original game’s core while substantially updating its presentation and interface. Bethesda and Xbox Wire describe Unreal Engine 5 visuals, revised textures, lighting, weather, and animations, as well as updated menus and HUD. Changes also include leveling, encumbrance, and enemy scaling adjustments; accessibility features, autosaves, and camera options are among the additions.
