Prices and stock can change during the event, so treat the examples below as snapshots—not guaranteed live prices—and check the exact listing before buying.
Amazon calls its October sale Prime Big Deal Days; “October Prime Day” is common shorthand. Amazon says the 48-hour event is exclusive to Prime members, spans more than 35 categories and ends October 7. Its event page says new featured deals arrive three times daily. Amazon’s announcement and event page set the official timing and terms.
What gaming deals are showing up?
Deal coverage during the event spans console games and accessories as well as PC gaming hardware. These are reported examples, not a promise that every item remains available at the stated price.
PS5
Tom’s Guide’s October 6 roundup reported PS5 games and accessories from $6. That is an entry-price snapshot for items in the category, not a claim that every PS5 game or accessory costs $6. Check the exact game, edition, format and compatibility on the listing. See Tom’s Guide’s PS5 deal roundup.

Nintendo Switch 2
Switch 2-compatible microSD Express storage is among the clearest accessory fits for the system. GamesRadar’s live coverage listed a 512GB SanDisk microSD Express card, along with examples including controllers, charging cases and a Switch 2 camera. Confirm that a card is specifically microSD Express and compatible with Switch 2; ordinary microSD cards are not interchangeable for the console’s expanded storage. The listed offer prices may have changed since the article was checked. View GamesRadar’s Switch deals coverage.
Tom’s Guide’s pre-event roundup described a Mario Kart World bundle at $549, calling it $37 less than buying the included items separately. Because that report predates the sale, treat it as context only and verify that the bundle is currently offered, its contents and total price before purchasing. Read the pre-event Switch deal guide.

PC gaming
Tom’s Guide’s October 6 coverage reported PC gaming laptops, monitors and keyboards from $36. That low-end figure should not be read as the price of a gaming laptop; it is a category-wide starting snapshot. Compare the specific hardware, including a laptop’s configuration or a monitor’s size and features, against its current delivered price. See the PC gaming deals coverage.

How to judge a deal before you buy
- Match the item to your platform. Check console generation and compatibility, particularly for Switch 2 storage and accessories.
- Compare the exact version. For games, verify title, edition and physical versus digital format; a lower price may be for a different version.
- Check the final listing. Confirm Prime eligibility, current stock, shipping and the price at checkout. Amazon’s event deals are for Prime members, but verify eligibility on the specific offer.
- Compare retailers. GAMES.GG reported early gaming offers at Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart. Compare the same product’s delivered price and availability rather than relying on a headline discount. Read the cross-retailer coverage.
When checking a listing, note the time as well as the price: event offers can sell out or change before the October 7 close. Amazon’s timing and deal-drop cadence are described on its Prime Big Deal Days page.
