What is confirmed before launch
Bandai Namco Entertainment describes ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet as a single-player restaurant-management simulation developed by Kairosoft. The publisher announces versions for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC through Steam, the App Store, and Google Play, and lists a physical standard edition. Its product description also advertises more than 400 ONE PIECE characters and more than 200 furniture, building, and decorative items. Those counts describe the game’s content; they are not a performance test or a promise that a particular graphics setting will improve frame rate.

That means any article claiming a measured FPS result, an ideal resolution, or a named in-game preset is getting ahead of the available evidence.

No official source reviewed for this guide confirms a Grand Gourmet graphics menu, a performance mode, a quality mode, a frame-rate cap, a resolution selector, or a benchmark. Settings may differ between Steam, Switch, Switch 2, iOS, and Android, and a game can expose fewer controls on a console or phone than on PC.
Why a “best settings” preset is not available yet
A useful preset requires three pieces of information: the actual options in the released build, the hardware or platform on which they were tested, and a repeatable way to measure the result. None of those Grand Gourmet-specific details is documented in the official pages cited above. The product description does not say whether the restaurant simulation is CPU-limited, GPU-limited, or capped at a particular refresh rate.
The game’s large advertised character and decoration counts also cannot be converted into a hardware requirement. A title may stream assets efficiently, draw a simple scene, or use a fixed camera; alternatively, a busy restaurant can stress a processor even when its visuals appear modest. PC: a safe order for testing graphics options
For the Steam version, begin at the game’s own graphics or display menu if one exists. Change one option at a time, play the same type of scene, and keep the change only if it improves stutter or responsiveness without making the image unacceptable. Riot Games’ support guidance, published October 7, 2026, likewise emphasizes that names vary by game and that players should adjust settings gradually and test after each adjustment. - Record the starting state. Write down every value before changing anything, or capture screenshots of the menu. This gives you a direct rollback path if an adjustment causes visual problems.
- Use a repeatable test. Load the same save or similar restaurant activity after each change. Compare camera movement, menu transitions, customer-heavy scenes, and any point at which you noticed hitching. Do not judge a setting from a different scene.
- Lower one demanding category by one step. Avoid changing several controls at once. If performance improves, you will know which trade-off produced it; if it does not, you can restore that option and test the next one.
- Stop when the problem is solved. Lowering every option can reduce image quality without addressing a CPU, storage, shader, or platform limit. Keep the highest values that remain smooth on your system.
- Restore changes that do not help. A setting that has no measurable or visible effect is not automatically better at a lower value. Return it to the previous level before continuing.
Shadows
If Grand Gourmet includes a shadow-quality or shadow-distance control, test a lower value first. Shadows can require additional scene calculations, especially when many objects or characters are visible. The trade-off is softer, shorter, or less detailed shadows. Do not assume the option exists or that it will be the largest gain in this particular game.
Effects and particles
An effects, visual-effects, or particle setting—if present—may cover environmental effects and other transient visuals. Lower it one step and repeat the same gameplay test. Keep the original value if restaurant scenes do not become smoother, because a lower effects level can remove detail without fixing the underlying bottleneck.
Post-processing
Post-processing can include screen-space effects, depth-of-field-style presentation, bloom, or similar finishing effects, although Grand Gourmet’s final menu has not been documented. Reducing this category may make motion look cleaner on a constrained PC. Treat the result as a visual compromise, not a guaranteed FPS increase.

Overall detail or quality
If the game offers an overall quality, detail, or preset selector, reduce it by one step before making large individual changes. Then test. Presets commonly alter several categories together, so they are quick to evaluate but less useful for identifying the exact cause of a slowdown. Once you find a workable preset, raise individual options one at a time to recover image quality.
Anti-aliasing
An anti-aliasing control may reduce jagged edges when lowered, but the visual effect depends on the game’s rendering method and display resolution. Test a single step rather than disabling it immediately. If the image becomes distracting and performance does not improve, restore the previous value.
Texture quality
Texture quality primarily changes surface detail and memory use. If a texture option exists, lower it only when you are troubleshooting memory pressure, hitching, or a warning from the game. A lower texture value can make characters, buildings, and furniture look softer while leaving the main frame-rate limit unchanged. Do not treat texture quality as a universal first fix.
Windows 11: check the graphics processor assigned to the game
Some Windows 11 PCs contain more than one graphics processor, such as an integrated GPU alongside a discrete one. Microsoft documents a per-app graphics preference in its Windows 11 guidance, Optimizations for windowed games in Windows 11. This is an operating-system choice, not a confirmed Grand Gourmet fix.

- Go to System, then Display, and open Graphics.
- Find the installed game in the app list. If it is not listed, use the option to browse for the game’s executable and add it.
- Open the game’s graphics preference, choose the processor option appropriate for your computer—typically the high-performance GPU when you intend to use the discrete card—and save the choice.
- Restart the game and repeat the same in-game test. If there is no improvement or the game becomes less stable, return the preference to its previous value.
Windows labels can change between releases, and a laptop’s manufacturer may impose its own power or GPU policy. Selecting a high-performance processor can increase power use and heat, so it is not automatically the best choice for battery-powered play. Because no Grand Gourmet test confirms this intervention, treat it as a diagnostic check rather than a promised frame-rate increase.
How to tell whether a change helped
Do not rely on a single impression after moving a slider. Use the same save, camera movement, and busy restaurant situation for each comparison. Look for fewer pauses, more consistent motion, and faster response to menus rather than chasing a number that the game may not display. If the game supplies its own performance counter after launch, record the scene and setting alongside the reading; otherwise, keep notes about what you observed.
- Improvement after one change: keep that change, restore other settings, and test the next category only if you still need more headroom.
- No change: restore the option and move on. The limitation may be outside that graphics category.
- Worse image but no smoother play: undo the change. Visual loss without a practical benefit is not an optimization.
- New crashes, corruption, or severe instability: return every value to the recorded starting state and relaunch before trying anything else.
Changing one control at a time also protects you from a common troubleshooting error: lowering several settings, seeing a different result, and not knowing which adjustment caused it. A short written log is more useful than a “maximum FPS” preset copied from a different game.

The announced platform list does not mean that every version exposes the same controls. Official listings confirm versions for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, the App Store, and Google Play, but the reviewed material does not document platform-specific graphics menus or performance modes.

There is no confirmed menu path, resolution choice, FPS option, or quality/performance toggle to change on either Nintendo platform in the information currently available. Do not use PC terminology as if it were a Switch setting. After launch, rely on the game’s own menus and the publisher’s update notes for any console-specific options. If the game offers no graphics controls, the practical choices may be limited to keeping the system updated, closing other software where the platform permits it, and using the display mode the game provides; none of those is a documented Grand Gourmet performance result.
iPhone and iPad

When the October 23 release arrives, use this sequence to avoid applying unsupported fixes:
- Confirm that you are running the released build for your platform, not a trailer, store page, or pre-release video.
- Open the game’s display or graphics menu and list the controls that actually exist. Do not substitute settings from another Kairosoft or ONE PIECE title.
- Record the default values and test a representative restaurant scene before changing anything.
- On Steam, lower one demanding category at a time—such as shadows, effects, post-processing, detail, anti-aliasing, or textures—only when the corresponding option is present.
- On a Windows 11 PC with multiple GPUs, verify the per-app graphics preference and retest, remembering that this is an operating-system setting rather than a guaranteed fix.
- On Switch, Switch 2, iOS, or Android, use only controls exposed by that version. Do not force PC resolutions, presets, or FPS expectations onto a console or mobile build.
- Keep a note of the setting that helped and the scene in which it helped. This makes it easier to restore quality after a game update.

Likewise, a general Windows setting or a lower graphics value cannot be presented as a Grand Gourmet-specific result until the released game is tested.
