Short answer: both OneStream Live and LiveReacting can send prerecorded video playlists to YouTube as live broadcasts, but their best fits differ. OneStream documents ordered playlists and scheduled prerecorded streams; its help page says continuous 24/7 streaming is YouTube-only and requires Enterprise, with a 30-day maximum per run. LiveReacting documents both scheduled playlists and a separate continuous 24/7 mode that runs on its servers. Choose based on whether you need scheduled, finite broadcasts or an always-on channel, then confirm the current plan limits and pricing before subscribing.
What the comparison means
A playlist here is a sequence of prerecorded videos sent out as one live broadcast. That is different from putting a finished live replay into a YouTube playlist. OneStream describes queueing videos in a specific sequence, while LiveReacting describes a project made from ordered videos. LiveReacting also offers a setting to add the resulting replay to YouTube playlists after the stream ends; that setting concerns the replay, not the playlist used as live input.
The feature and plan details below come from the services’ official documentation, not hands-on comparative testing. Neither feature lists nor company scale figures establish that one service will bring a channel more viewers, watch time, or reliability.
How the playlist workflows compare
| Need | OneStream Live | LiveReacting |
|---|---|---|
| Make a live broadcast from ordered videos | Documents a queue of videos played in a specific sequence. OneStream playlist and streaming options | Documents creating a video-playlist project and choosing the video order. LiveReacting scheduling and playlists |
| Try playlist streaming on a free plan | The free plan excludes creating or streaming playlists. Its published limits also include 15-minute prerecorded streams, one-hour real-time streams, up to two destinations, maximum 720p, and 1 GB media storage. These are current published limits, not permanent guarantees. OneStream free-plan limits | The free tier is listed with no scheduling and a 30-minute maximum run. The page describes a free 24/7 workflow test, but scheduled playlist runs require a paid tier. Check the current plan page for eligibility. LiveReacting plan limits |
| Schedule finite runs | OneStream says prerecorded streams can be scheduled up to 60 days in advance. OneStream streaming options | Small allows one start time and runs up to one hour; Medium supports advanced scheduling and runs up to three hours; Large supports advanced scheduling and runs up to eight hours; Enterprise supports advanced scheduling and runs up to 24 hours. Medium and above are required for lists of dates or repeat schedules. LiveReacting scheduling plans |
| Run continuously | The help page says 24/7 streaming is YouTube-only, requires Enterprise, and is capped at 30 days per scheduled stream. Its pricing page also lists a 24-Hours Streams add-on; verify how the current plan and add-on apply to your account before purchase. OneStream 24/7 setup · OneStream pricing | A separate 24/7 plan is listed with no stated duration cap. LiveReacting says prerecorded and 24/7 streams run on its cloud servers, so your computer can be off. LiveReacting 24/7 guide |
| Stream destinations | OneStream describes 45+ destinations overall, but its 24/7 help page specifies YouTube-only for that mode. Do not assume every mode supports every destination. OneStream streaming options | LiveReacting lists YouTube, Twitch, Kick, and 30+ platforms overall; destination availability depends on plan. Confirm the destinations included in the selected tier. |
| Computer during the broadcast | The prerecorded workflow is cloud-based. | The vendor says prerecorded and 24/7 streams run on its servers and do not need a continuously powered local computer. LiveReacting 24/7 guide |
Which service fits your schedule?
Choose OneStream for a scheduled playlist when its plan limits fit
OneStream is worth considering when you want to queue prerecorded videos or schedule a finite broadcast and its supported duration, quality, and destination limits meet your needs. Its free plan is not a way to test playlist streaming: the company says playlists are excluded. For continuous broadcasting, do not treat the pricing-page add-on and the help page’s Enterprise requirement as interchangeable; confirm the current entitlement directly on the pricing page before committing.

Choose LiveReacting for repeat schedules or its documented 24/7 mode
LiveReacting’s scheduling tiers distinguish one start time from advanced date and repeat scheduling, and cap run length by plan. Its separate 24/7 plan is the more directly documented option when the goal is continuous playback from the cloud. The listed maximum duration for that plan is not stated, so confirm current terms if you need a particular uninterrupted run length.

LiveReacting’s playlist page publishes feature and duration tiers, but the opened price table did not expose all plan prices. Don’t infer a subscription cost from a feature tier; check LiveReacting’s current pricing page and confirm whether the plan includes the schedule, run duration, and destinations you need.
Set up a YouTube playlist broadcast carefully
- Choose the broadcast type. Decide whether you need one finite scheduled run, repeat dates, or continuous 24/7 playback. Match that choice to the service’s current duration and scheduling tier before preparing the project.
- Prepare the playlist. Upload videos you own or have permission to stream. Put them in the intended sequence and check each file’s playback and audio before scheduling; playlist order determines what viewers see next.
- Connect YouTube and select the destination. Follow the service’s current connection flow, choose the correct channel, and review the YouTube event details and visibility before starting. For OneStream’s continuous mode, the documented destination is YouTube only.
- Set timing and duration. For a scheduled broadcast, verify the date, start time, time zone, and maximum run length for your tier. If repeating a schedule, confirm that the plan supports multiple dates or repeats rather than a single start time.
- Decide how to handle the replay. Check the resulting event and replay settings in YouTube Studio. LiveReacting can add the completed replay to YouTube playlists; this is separate from the input playlist played during the live broadcast.
- Monitor the first run. Confirm that the live event has started, the intended video is playing, audio is present, and the stream is still active. Do not assume a very long continuous broadcast will produce a complete replay: LiveReacting cites YouTube guidance that streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured as a replay. YouTube rights, replay, and viewing details
- Use authorized content. LiveReacting advises streaming material you own or are licensed to use. Having a copy of a song, video, or broadcast does not by itself establish permission to rebroadcast it; check the rights covering the recording, composition, and any other included material.
- Do not promise a complete VOD for a long stream. LiveReacting’s 24/7 documentation warns that YouTube may not capture a stream longer than 12 hours as a replay. Treat that as a risk for long runs and plan separate recordings or shorter sessions if a saved replay matters. LiveReacting 24/7 guide
- Tell viewers where chat works. YouTube says live chat is available on YouTube watch pages, not embedded players. If viewers are watching an embed, direct them to the watch page for chat. YouTube Help
- Do not confuse a playlist with a monetization guarantee. A technically valid stream or replay does not itself establish eligibility for monetization or compliance with YouTube channel policies. Review the current YouTube rules for your channel and the rights to the material before relying on revenue.

The playlist option is missing
Check whether the account is on a tier that permits playlist streaming. OneStream says its free plan excludes playlists. LiveReacting lists no scheduling on Free, and paid scheduling capabilities vary by tier. Compare the current plan terms with the exact workflow you intend to use.

Compare the total playlist length with the selected tier’s run limit. LiveReacting lists limits from one hour on Small to 24 hours on Enterprise for scheduled runs; OneStream’s free plan lists 15 minutes for prerecorded streams. The playlist may need a higher tier or shorter content.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
A repeat schedule cannot be configured
Check the plan’s scheduling level. LiveReacting lists a single start time for Small and advanced scheduling for Medium and above; its page says lists of dates or repeat schedules require Medium or above. Recheck current plan names and limits before upgrading.
The stream starts on the wrong channel or destination
Review the connected YouTube account, selected channel, and event destination in the service setup. This matters especially if you manage several channels or destinations. OneStream’s general destination count does not override its documented YouTube-only restriction for 24/7 mode.
The replay is missing or incomplete
Check YouTube Studio and the event’s replay settings. For streams longer than 12 hours, LiveReacting cites a YouTube limitation under which a replay may not be captured. If preserving the full program is important, keep a separate recording and consider shorter broadcast sessions.

Viewers cannot use live chat
Ask them to open the YouTube watch page rather than an embedded player; YouTube says live chat is only available on watch pages.
Decision
For finite, scheduled playlist broadcasts, compare the services’ current run-time and scheduling limits against your program length and calendar. OneStream documents ordered queues and advance scheduling, but playlist streaming is not included in its free plan. LiveReacting makes its scheduling tiers and 24/7 workflow distinct, with run lengths varying by tier. For a continuous YouTube channel that should keep playing uploaded video without a computer at home, StreamNeo is the more direct fit: upload, add the stream key, and go live from the cloud.
