Operation: Belly of the Beast ran from May 4, 2026, at 2 p.m. ET, through June 1, 2026, at 2 p.m. ET, and has ended. This retrospective guide covers the announced 2026 access requirements, mission routes, Volatile Mote exchange, rewards and community milestones; it does not imply that the event or its exchange is currently available. How to start Operation: Belly of the Beast
To enter Stalker’s Lair during the 2026 event, players had to complete The New War main story quest and then complete Jade Shadows. The 2026 announcement specifies both steps; the shorter requirement in the prior rerun announcement should not be used in place of this sequence.
How the event worked
Tenno could help Ordis fight Parvos’ forces through three routes. The 2026 announcement did not give a fixed Volatile Mote yield for each route.
Operation Brutus, Uranus
The operation version of Ascension on Brutus featured Jade Light Eximus in place of other Eximus units. Summoning a Sister of Parvos also awarded additional Volatile Motes.

Operation Alerts
Timed, non-Ascension missions appeared across the Origin System. Digital Extremes said to expect these Alerts about every hour, offering an alternative to the Brutus mission for earning Volatile Motes.
Join another squad as Stalker
At Larunda Relay, players could visit Ordis and select “A Shared Purpose?” to join another squad’s mission as the Stalker. Digital Extremes warned that the player could lose the mission’s usual rewards if downed while playing this way.

Volatile Motes and Ordis’ exchange
Players exchanged Volatile Motes with Ordis in the Navigation Room of Larunda Relay. The 2026 announcement lists available wares but does not state individual mote prices, so there is no verified price list to use for comparing purchases.
The original 2024 event had different, documented yields: Brutus awarded 4–6 Volatile Motes, or 8–10 on Steel Path; summoning a Sister added 1–3, or 2–4 on Steel Path; and Alerts awarded 10, or 15 on Steel Path. Those figures come from the 2024 Jade Shadows update notes and are historical—not confirmed yields for the 2026 rerun.

What were the Belly of the Beast rewards?
The 2026 announcement grouped rewards across the personal Volatile Mote exchange, community-progress milestones and Clan Contributions. It did not publish individual mote costs, so the categories below identify what was offered without implying a purchase order or value ranking.
New items in the personal exchange
- Belly of the Beast Honoria and Jade’s Promise Orbiter Deco.
- Lacera Scorn Skin and several Stalker-themed cosmetics and items.
- Stalker Specter Blueprint.
- Burning Hate for Hate and Unseen Dread for Dread.
- Archon Shards, limited to one per color.
Returning items in the personal exchange
The exchange also included returning cosmetics, blueprints, the Ballroom Simulacrum and a broad selection of Arcanes. The announcement does not provide individual prices for these items.

Community-progress rewards
A Community Progress tracker counted the total Volatile Motes collected by all Tenno. As progress increased, it unlocked purchases of a new Jade Light Ephemera variant. The returning Aspirus Ephemera rewards were tied to overall Operation progress thresholds of 33%, 66% and 90%.
Clan Contributions
The Clan Contributions wares included Enlightened Hate Skin, clan sigils and emblem, Arcane Energize, Arcane Grace and Arcane Barrier. Across both the “Commit Volatile Motes” and “Clan Contributions” stores, purchases were capped at 42 per Arcane type per player—two fully upgraded Arcanes, according to Digital Extremes.

How to choose what to pursue
- For new event items: look at the new cosmetics, weapon skins, blueprints and Archon Shards in the personal exchange.
- For returning collectibles: the exchange included returning cosmetics, blueprints, the Ballroom Simulacrum and Arcanes; Aspirus Ephemera availability depended on community progress.
- For clan-related rewards: Clan Contributions offered its own cosmetics and Arcane options, subject to the shared per-player Arcane cap across the two stores.
- For a route to earn motes: the announcement presented Ascension on Brutus, timed Alerts and joining a squad as Stalker as alternatives, but did not establish 2026 yields or item-by-item costs.
