To earn Nostalgia Trip in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, align the Lighthouse’s six exterior statues into three pairs facing each other, then use two Wisps to reach the Library Balcony. Jump over its railing to trigger the achievement. The Wolf’s Den is a separate secret area and is not shown as part of this achievement route.
Open the Music Room with the six-statue puzzle
- Find the six statues outside the Library and turn each one using the handle at its base. The puzzle is solved when all three pairs face one another.
- Set the pair on the central upper landing to face each other.
- Set the pair split between the courtyard and dining-hall side to face each other.
- Set the pair behind the buildings containing Neve’s and Bellara’s rooms to face each other.
- Return to the Library area. Once all three pairs are aligned, use the newly opened passage to enter the Music Room.
The statues’ starting directions vary, so use the facing-each-other rule rather than relying on a fixed number of turns.
Use two Wisps to reach the Library Balcony
The Wisp route becomes available later as the story progresses. If the required Wisp interactions are not available yet, continue the main story and return to the Lighthouse later; walkthroughs do not agree on one exact milestone for this step.
- Guide the first Wisp in the Music Room to one of the room’s receptacles.
- Find the second Wisp outside near the upper statues and carry it to the other receptacle.
- With both receptacles filled, go through the portal to the Library Balcony.
Repair the Astrolabe, then jump from the balcony
On the Library Balcony, interact with the globe-like object to repair the Astrolabe before leaving if you want its upgrade discount and Caretaker points. Then jump over the balcony railing to the floor below. The fall triggers Nostalgia Trip, whose achievement description is: “Tested for fall damage and survived in the Lighthouse.”

Is the Wolf’s Den required for Nostalgia Trip?
No. The Wolf’s Den is reached through a separate, later Wisp-and-beam puzzle. It is another Lighthouse secret, but the achievement route is statues → Music Room → two Wisps → Library Balcony → jump. The available walkthroughs do not show the Wolf’s Den or every companion room as a requirement for Nostalgia Trip.
