Juno is an Overwatch 2 Support who can heal and damage with the same core tools, move quickly herself, and help teammates reposition. Blizzard first made her playable in a limited trial on July 19–21, 2024; she joined the full hero roster with Season 12 on August 20, 2024.
Who is Juno?
Juno Teo Minh is a human born on Mars during Project Red Promise, a Lucheng Interstellar terraforming initiative. After a crisis threatened the colony, her team sent her to Earth for safety. Blizzard’s hero profile describes her as determined to save her home planet and equipped with space-age technology.
What are Juno’s abilities?
Juno’s kit combines healing and damage with personal mobility and a team movement boost. Her tools suit a proactive Support who can help allies engage or reposition while contributing damage.
- Mediblaster: A burst-fire weapon that heals allies and damages enemies.
- Pulsar Torpedoes: Lock-on homing projectiles that heal allies over time and damage enemies.
- Glide Boost: A horizontal glide that increases Juno’s movement speed.
- Hyper Ring: A deployable ring that increases the movement speed of allies who pass through it.
- Orbital Ray: A forward-moving ray that heals allies and increases their damage.
- Martian Overboots: An airborne double jump, with a hover while Jump is held.

When could players try Juno?
Juno’s limited-time trial ran from July 19 through July 21, 2024. Blizzard’s trial patch notes said she was not available in Competitive Play during that event.
When did Juno join the full roster?
Juno became a full-roster hero with Season 12 on August 20, 2024. Blizzard’s Season 12 announcement and August 20 patch notes mark her launch; the patch notes also made her eligible for Competitive Play.

Have Juno’s abilities changed since launch?
Yes. Balance details are date- and mode-dependent. For example, Blizzard’s January 7, 2025 patch notes reduced Orbital Ray’s duration from 10 to 8 seconds and its damage amplification from 35% to 30%. Those are the changes recorded in that patch, not a guarantee of values in every current mode. Blizzard’s July 2026 Stadium patch notes also list Juno-specific Stadium power changes, underscoring that mode-specific mechanics can differ.
