The “this weekend” in Blizzard’s Juno announcement meant July 19–21, 2024—a past, limited-time early trial for the upcoming Overwatch 2 Support hero. Juno was not available in Competitive Play during that trial; Blizzard later said she would become available to everyone, including in Competitive Play, with Season 12.
When could players try Juno?
Blizzard announced the trial on July 15, 2024, ahead of Juno’s planned Season 12 launch. Its announcement invited players to try her “during a limited-time trial from July 19 through July 21” before she launched in-game the following month. The event dates are historical, not an upcoming trial. Blizzard’s announcement
The weekend trial was an early preview, not the only opportunity to play Juno. Blizzard’s later Season 12 announcement said she would be available to everyone when the season launched and could be used in Competitive Play.
What did Juno’s announced abilities do?
Blizzard presented Juno as a mobile Support hero whose tools combined healing, damage, and team movement. These are the official ability descriptions announced at the time, not an assessment of her present-day balance or performance.
