Genji’s Happi is a Legendary skin, but it is not a newly announced release: Blizzard introduced it in 2022 and documented a limited-time bundle return in 2024. Those historical offers do not establish whether the skin is available in-game now; check the current in-game shop for its live status.
What is Genji’s Happi skin?
Happi is an in-game Legendary cosmetic for Genji. Blizzard introduced it in connection with the Overwatch League Summer Showdown, describing it in its September 6, 2022 Overwatch Retail Patch Notes as the “Genji Happi legendary skin.” The notes said it could be purchased for a limited time with Overwatch League Tokens, but did not specify when that offer ended.
When was Happi available?
| Offer | What Blizzard documented | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| September 2022 | Blizzard’s September 6 patch notes announced a limited-time offer for Happi using Overwatch League Tokens. | The original offer existed; no end date was stated. |
| October 8–15, 2024 | Blizzard’s Overwatch League inventory sale schedule listed the Overwatch League 2022 Tournament Bundle, which included Happi Genji. | A later, dated bundle offer existed; it does not confirm availability after that period. |
Is Genji’s Happi skin available now?
The official announcements cited here do not confirm whether Happi is obtainable in-game on October 8, 2026. Blizzard’s 2024 sale announcement said Overwatch League Tokens would no longer be sold after December 9, 2024, and that the OWL Shop would remain open until at least December 2025 with reduced inventory. Those were statements about the plans at that time, not confirmation of the shop’s present status or inventory. Check the in-game shop rather than relying on either historical offer.
